New Month, New Challenges

Hey Gang,

Happy to report another great week of Jiu-Jitsu and Another to come. We have been working hard preparing for testing at the end of the Month. Remember August 28th at 5:00 p.m. for Daniel Chism's Black Belt Test and a number of others who are preparing to test that night.

More Vids on the Website, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Basics. You will notice they mirror our Basics because that is where I adopted the techniques from. As you are aware we went to Carroll County Sheriff's Office and put on a course entitled, "Ground Survival for the Law Enforcement Officer". It was a hit and Lt. J.C. Nelson asked me to become the Defensive Tactics Instructor for their Department, I accepted. On October 16th from 9am - 5pm we will host Defensive Tactics instruction for their upcoming Deputy Reserve program. Up to 15 to 20 Deputies will attend. I will tap a few of you to assist in the Basic Jiu-Jitsu Application portion of this instruction.
